About the Artist
Sarah Groux is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is influenced by her Swiss and Chilean cultural heritage. Based in Montreal, she is currently pursuing a degree in Art History at Concordia University and holds a double DCS in Social Sciences and Visual Arts from Cégep Marie-Victorin.
Working at the intersection of visual arts and the humanities, she develops a practice that questions our relationship to the world, to others, and to ourselves. Her work is both introspective and socially engaged, addressing themes such as identity, collective memory, and everyday narratives. She explores these issues through a variety of mediums, including collage, painting, photography, and soft pastel drawing.
