In my most recent work, Human Residue, I reflect on our responsibility in shaping society's collective psyche, as well as on how individual and inherited memories contribute to broader patterns of distress that reverberate throughout the world. I suggest that, even as science and technology advance at an extraordinary pace, psychological and emotional development often remains stagnant, fixed in unresolved early stages of human experience.

Through fragmentation and restricted color palettes, I explore the tension between progress and self-awareness. In this series, I invite the audience to reflect on what remains when innovation surpasses our understanding.

Through the language I’m developing, I explore themes of disconnection and togetherness, the fragility of existence, and the endless potential and limitations that define us. Beneath the distortion and beyond form lies a higher self that remembers.

Selected group exhibitions include "Everything But the Kitschen Sink", 2025, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Los Angeles, California; "The Future of the Arts - Miami Art Week", 2024, The Sagamore Hotel, Miami, Florida; "BWYL", 2024, Storage Gallery (Rema Hort Mann Foundation), New York, New York. Sánchez's notable collaborations include the WildAid Foundation, for which she created original work for their global campaign against elephant ivory trafficking.

”Human beings' dual nature and emotional illiteracy have driven me to explore the thousands of worlds within us. By deconstructing the human anatomy, I aim to use matter as a medium for communication. My interest in psychoanalysis and quantum phenomena invites viewers to explore the depths of their psyche.

My approach combines hand-drawn and digital painting with traditional techniques. I use digital anatomical models to manipulate light and create environments that evoke a dreamlike or meditative state. I explore these forms to push the boundaries of flesh, creating spaces that reflect an immersion into the unconscious of a greater force. My work relies on spirituality to reveal the paradoxes of existence and the intricacies of human behavior.”
