About the Artist
Katherine Harrington is an emerging artist who is studying Studio Art and Art History at
Concordia University. She is based both in Montreal and Toronto. Her work explores themes of
nostalgia through dream-like representations and the interconnectedness of humans and
nature. She is often influenced by artists like Sarindar Dhaliwal and artists working with bold
colour and patterns. Harrington is currently in the process of completing her first year of
university and has been doing art since she was very young taking many lessons and spending
much time doodling, and creative activity. She is navigating the constant journey of discovery of
her style of creation. She hopes to continue exploring what it means to her to be an artist in this
day and age and how she will be able to share her art and her vision with the rest of the world.
